Recently, the newly introduced KJ1040 Mining Conveyor Belt Steel Cord Core X-ray Flaw Detection System of Dafosi Mine has been installed in place and officially put into use, realizing the intelligent non-destructive flaw detection of conveyor belts, and strongly guaranteeing the safe and reliable operation of the main transportation system.

The system consists of ZSX127D-F mining explosion-proof transmitting box, KJ1040-S mining intrinsically safe X-ray receiving box, ZSX127D-K(A) mining explosion-proof and intrinsically safe control mainframe, transmission interface and upper computer. The main use of material density of different X-ray absorption rate of different principles, high-speed, high-precision, full-section perspective scanning of steel wire rope core conveyor belt, in the form of real-time uploaded to the computer in the form of X-ray photographs, after a special software analysis of the conveyor belt within the steel wire rope core damage, joints twitching, rubber damage and conveyor belt strength to quantitatively determine and accurately locate the problem of timely early warning, and completely clear the Wire rope core conveyor belt safety hidden danger is completely eliminated.

In the past, conveyor belt inspection was carried out by manual hand-held flaw detector, which could only identify whether the belt surface was damaged or not, but could not accurately judge the internal damage. After the system is put into use, it realizes real-time on-line inspection of conveyor belt width, skin, edge and joint twitching, etc., clear and intuitive display of internal perspective image and precise judgment and warning of the problem, which greatly improves the efficiency of conveyor belt inspection, inspection accuracy and intelligent management level of the main transport system, and guarantees the safe and reliable operation of the main transport system.
